Flora and Fauna

In the past it was a part of a nearby lake Trześniowskie. It was created as a result of artificial divide of these waters. Most of the shores of a similar nature to fiords. Fish you'll find here: pike, lake trout, roach, tench, bream, lavaret, whitefish, perch and eel. Lake Trześniowskie is located in the Łagów Landscape Park. By its shores two reserves were created. The lake is connected to the nearby Lake Łagowskie through a short channel.
