Flora and Fauna
Lake has the II class of water purity (Polish standards). The lake is a quiet zone. It has several islands, among others, Wysoki Ostrów, which is a nesting place of cormorants and herons. The shore of the lake is high. Due to the openness of the lake to the wind the water is mixed on substantial depths. The bottom is mostly muddy,on the eastern and southern parts of the tank there are clusters of boulders (up to 2 - 4 meter boulders), stones and gravel. The data on the lake indicates that 25% of the bottom surface is vegetation.
