Underwater attractions

Carriere de Dongelberg is a quarry located in the Wallonia region, province of Brabant-Wallon, Jodoigne city, with a depth of 40 m. This diving site is intended for persons with advanced level of training. It is necessary to be particularly careful due to poor visibility. Stones and rocks are covering the sludgy bottom. While diving, it is possible to see a lot of interesting shipwrecks, among others car, remains of the plane and ruins of building. It is worthwhile also to look for caves rich in stalactites. The area is characterized by many sea organisms: freshwater mussels, roach, carp, sturgeons and ropes.
