Underwater attractions

Campanella is one of popular diving sites in Croatia. It is located to the west of Veli Vodnjak island (to the west of Hvar island) and it is possible to get there by boat. The experience level of diving is quite high due to quite significant depth (maximum 60 meters) and strong currents – this place is intended for experienced technical divers. Campanella name refers to landform features – because it is underwater rock spire reaching from 60 up to 13 meters. This small place constitutes a home for plenty of species of underwater creatures, among others for moray eels, sea eels, scorpion fishes, red mullet, starfishes and lutjanus. There are schools of smaller fish. The hill is covered by red gorgonians, corals and sponges.
