Underwater attractions

The cave is located near the south coast of Drvenik island. Taking into account its small size (20 meters wide and 6 high) it is best to swim in groups of up to five persons. The entrance is located at 28 meters by very sandy bottom – it is necessary to be careful, not to stir up silt and don’t disrupt great visibility. The cave consists of two rooms. The first is full of underwater organisms, such as sponges and cnidarians. There are among others crabs, snails, scorpionfish, octopus and moray eels. In the second room, due to small access of light and food, you can find only small creatures. It is best to visit this place in July or August, when the water temperature is 22-25°C.
