Underwater attractions

Glavat is an island resembling the rocky ship on which is a lighthouse. According to the Greek mythology, it was created as a result of the quarrel of gods. Poseidon’s assistant could not decide which from Lastovo islands, Mljet and Korcula is the most beautiful – he stared at them for 2 days and as punishment was turned into a rock. The diving site is located to the south of island and is available from the boat. Diving begins with exploring the cliff and wall covered by red gorgonians, which descends on 70 meters. There are flounders, groupers, synanceia verrucosa and rare species of crustaceans. Divers should pay attention to strong currents periodically appearing in this area.
