Jabuka is a small cliff located to the south of Kolocep island. It is possible to get there by boat, which is anchored by a small rock. Diving begins on the plateau, from which advanced divers descend to a depth of 38 meters. The outside edge of this cliff is intended for technical divers, because it reaches up to 50 meters. However, novices will also find something for themselves, because there are many attractions on the shallows. There are many caves, particularly one of them is worth attention – from the outside dark and inconspicuous, but inside enrapturing with its beauty – with habitat (“air bell”) and stalactites hanging from the vault. Various sea animals are living in this place, among others sea eels, lobsters, octopus, scorpion fishes, mussels and moray eels. It is possible also to come across bait fish. Great visibility causes that this place is perfect for underwater photography. However, it is necessary to pay attention to periodically appearing strong currents.
