Wreck description:

Euterpe is a very interesting 96 meter wreck of the cargo-passenger steamer, located near the west coast of the Pag island. This ship was built in 1886 in Great Britain and in the course of the World War I was used for military purposes. As a result of torpedoing by the Italian submarine on April 11, 1918 sank. It took almost five hundred soldiers. The wreck grounded at 80 meters, so is intended only for technical divers. The highest – on the level of 69 meters – is a mast. The stern was destroyed, its fragments lies at the bottom around the ship. Well visible are after the explosion of torpedo. Swimming into the lower deck is impossible, because there are significant amount of silt. Most of crew members died in the cargo hold, but there are no remains of weapons – there are covered by a thick layer of silt.
