Wreck description:

It is an Italian freighter with the original name of Sebastiano Veniero, which was commandeered by Germans during the World War II and renamed to Captain Diederichsen. It sank torpedoed by French fighter planes Le Malin and Le Terrible in 1944, near the Premuda island. The wreck grounded at a depth of 66 meters, bottom up. While dive it is possible to observe the propeller and rudder of the ship, as well as German rifles. There are also very well visible holes in the starboard, caused by the explosion of torpedoes. As the wreck is located in the open sea, divers should pay attention to periodically appearing strong currents.
