Wreck description:

To the diving site it is possible to get by boat. Average depth is 10 m. There is a wreck of SS Turkia ship, which sank in 1941. The reasons for sinking until the end aren’t known. Bombing or fire is suspected as the cause of disaster. The ship was built in England in 1909, had a length of 100 m and width of 14 m. The shipwreck lies on the sandy bottom, and next to it are masts and many remains of the structure and equipment. The condition of this wreck is determined as good, and it is possible to swim inside and explore it. To this day the entire cargo is still inside, and all over sides of this cargo are vehicles covered by corals. The wreck constitutes sheltering for many species of sea animals. The fauna is really very rich here.
