Wreck description:

KRONPRINS GUSTAF ADOLF is a wreck of the Swedish ship located to the south of Helsinki, which lies at a depth of 21 m. This diving site is intended for persons with advanced level of training. It is necessary to be particularly careful due to poor visibility and sea currents. Built in 1784, had a length of 49.6 m and width of 13.6 m. The crew consisted of 567 people. It sunk in 1788 as a result of hitting the reef. The ship exploded. While diving, it is possible to find the hull and many other parts. It is worthwhile to look for cannons and anchors. The shipwreck was found in 1995 while scanning the seabed.
